Brand new song I wrote for my Great-Grandmother Eliza Jane Smith, a metis woman from St. Andrew’s and the Red River colonies of Manitoba. Dedicated to my home province of Saskatchewan. We have a long and storied past that has still yet to be reconciled. Debuted January 28th, 2019 on the Global News Morning Show.

I appreciate having that opportunity provided to me by my community, and work daily to do whatever I can to put my own energy or assistance that I can offer back into that same community, to ensure you are always seeing a return on your investment! I am a strong believer in the importance of funding for the Arts, as I believe that artistic creation is a resource and asset to our country, culture, and people, and something that has value and meaning beyond what may or may not hold monetary value within a commercial market place.
